DESCRIPTION: Quite a common species that causes unsightly patches of purple, yellow and black on various Mahonia species.  On the underside can be found  several brown powdery pustules. SPORES: Clavate to spheropedunculate, with punctate walls. HABITAT: On leaves of various Mahonia species.SEASON: Common. Can be seen all year round.
